This is one of my favourite F1 cars of all time and to find a kit of it was wonderful. The kit is typical of the high standards and attention to detail that current Tameo kits provide.

Although none of the body panels are removable, full engine detail is provided. As well as a white metal main body and rear wing element, there are a host of other goodies in this kit, rubber tyres, turned wheels and engine trumpets, photo etched suspension part and various wing end plates.

The real magic is in the decals. The most striking lion is a single decal and needs careful handling to adhere to the various compound curves. But when they are all in place you really feel like you have achieved something.

The car is shown as it appeared at the 1979 Belgian GP. It finally finished two laps down in tenth place. When I get hold of another of these kits, I will build the car as it appeared in the 2000 Thoroughbred Grand Prix Series.
