This is the classic shark nose Ferrari of 1961 and 1962. The car won its very first grand prix and Phil Hill won the 1961 World Championship with the car.

The model depicts the car as driven by Giancarlo Baghetti in the 1961 French GP at Reimes, making him the only driver ever to win his first GP.

The model has a removable engine cover and front cowl showing how little there was protecting the drivers of forty years ago.
